PT. Mulia Intan Lestari upgrades its HR Administration and Time & Attendance tracking with SunFish HR

September 21, 2005, Jakarta – DataOn announces that PT. Mulia Intan Lestari (Mulia Hotel) has selected the Professional Version of SunFish HR to automate its employee information administration and to upgrade its attendance recording.
The hotel is currently using an attendance machine recording basic statuses for working start and end time. But Mulia Hotel wanted to take its attendance tracking a step further to allow recording of more related issues such as overtime, leave, shifts as well as detailed analysis and reporting options.  In addition to better enforcement of policies regarding attendance, the hotel was also determined to automate the information administration for its 1600 employees and make it less time consuming. 

Mulia Hotel sought to implement an HR solution that empowered it to completely manage all attendance related issues; from broader options for absence or presence statuses beyond in/out and overtime, leave, sick day approval according to their policy to included alerts that notify management when employees come close to maximums. As a second major requirement the solution had to automate and simplify employee data administration but more specifically it also had to include alerts for the management to remind them of contract expiry and timely renewal or termination processing.

Upon the hotel’s decision to buy a solution DataOn introduced its SunFish HR. The product’s functionalities exceeded Mulia Hotel’s expectations not only for handling their most pressing issues related to Time & Attendance and Employee Information Automation but also other areas such as shift scheduling, organization structure, position description as well as notifications and alerts. The system found immediate acceptance with the management and the decision was made to implement the Professional Version of SunFish HR for Mulia Hotel’s 1600 employees.

Once implemented SunFish HR will automate the many administrative HR processes simplifying management, tracking and reporting tasks. Besides advantages in information transparency and data processing efficiency the new solution ensures that no tasks will be forgotten. 

With the new Time Attendance module the hotel can track a broad range of attendance statuses as well as overtime, leave days, sick days, business trips, and holidays while the integrated alert system will help to quickly identify potential problems. Supervisors have not only task reminders throughout the system but are also notified about employees who work too many overtime hours, are often sick, or have absorbed all their leave days, etc. 

With the information in the system and analysis tools available with a mouse click the hotel management can easily take the appropriate measures to solve each issue and will be enabled to better adhere to the company’s HR regulations and policies.

Deperindag - Ministry of Trade and Industry of Republic Indonesia
