PT. Griya Miesejati to implement SunFish HR for strategic employee development to prepare for expansion
November 2005, Jakarta – DataOn announces that its SunFish HR Enterprise Version was selected for implementation at PT. Griya Miesejati (Bakmi GM). The company needs an HR system that goes beyond common HR functionalities and provides in-depths functions for strategic employee development and career paths administration including performance evaluation, competency management, training and recruitment.
Established in the early 70’s PT. Griya Miesejati opened the first Fast-Food Restaurant under the name 'Bakmi Gadjah Mada 77'; today Indonesia’s oldest fast-food restaurant. Steadily expanding throughout Jakarta and in 2000 to other Indonesian cities Bakmi GM grew to a respected Fast Food company that easily competes with international brands such as McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc. Currently employing more than 6000 workers and continuing to expand Bakmi GM company was determined to address the strategic development of its human resources to match the company’s growth plans.
Early in 2005 Bakmi GM started the vendor evaluation process comparing solutions of many well-known international and local HR system providers. Their main focus during the evaluation was how each system would handle the strategic functions of employee competency management, performance evaluation in different categories as well as training management based on such evaluation. In several rounds, the company carefully filtered the vendors that had the smallest gap to their detailed requirements. The SunFish HR Enterprise Suite proved to be the right solution for Bakmi GM.
