PT. Indosat Mega Media upgrades current HR system to SunFish HR Enterprise Version

PT. Indosat Mega Media (http://www.indosatm2.com/), a subsidiary of PT. Indosat Tbk., provides internet, multimedia, and other IP based services for residential and business clients’ in Indonesia. Since 2002, PT. Indosat Mega Media has used SunFish HR DataOn’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System) solution.

Since its implementation, PT. Indosat Mega Media was able to integrate and automate all HR processes in one single system, which simplified the company’s human resource administration and improved its efficiency in processing and managing its employee attendance and activity tracking.

Last year, PT. Indosat Mega Media began looking into the option to upgrade the present HRIS system to DataOn’s latest enterprise version of HRIS.  In February 2006, PT. Indosat Mega Media made the decision to proceed with the upgrade to enable the benefits of the strategic features in the system.

Once implemented, SunFish HR will continue to provide improvements in the transparency and efficiency of their many administrative HR activities and data processes by further simplifying management, tracking and reporting tasks. Moreover, the new solution will also address PT. Indosat Mega Media’s concept of employee career development and farsighted personnel strategy that aligns the value of their employees with the company’s goals. 

Measuring and analyzing individual performances, competencies and skills systematically and frequently not only assists PT. Indosat Mega Media in evaluating the knowledge and potential within the company but will show a career path for each employee as well allowing them to develop their careers accordingly.
