Bank Ganesha Indonesia engages DataOn to develop commercial & information video

May 2007, Jakarta – Bank Ganesha decided to utilize DataOn’s design and custom development services together combined with the SunFish CMS Video Tools to implement branch video systems containing always up-to-date banking service and stock information, ads and movie trailers to be continuously displayed on TV in their headquarters and branches.

The video content and design combined with SunFish management tool, allow the bank’s employees to update the different video feeds themselves – not only daily stock values, interest rate changes, etc. but also new promotion packages, commercials and the latest movie trailers.

As the project was a very important and special one to the bank’s directors to increase the awareness of the banks image and services they insisted on a thorough vendor selection.  DataOn convinced the director’s by going the extra mile with preparing a sample video and simple video management area to demonstrate what the live video could look like and how the management of the different video components would be handled.

Once given the order, DataOn developed the commercial & information video based on its SunFish CM video tools, which were customized for the project. It contains two simple sections: one holding the design structure of each page displayed in the video and the second holding all the different content parts such as bank rates, exchange rates, product highlights, movie trailers, etc.  The quick access to each aspect of video feed pages and content allows any authorized employee to easily manage the video without requiring much experience and training to handle such a system.
