RS Internasional Bintaro replaces current HR solutions with SunFish HR
August 2007, Jakarta - DataOn announces that RS Internasional Bintaro has chosen to implement its SunFish HR in order to replace their current stand-alone HR solutions for time and attendance recording and tracking as well as payroll with a fully integrated application that extends beyond those two administration aspects to also include the management of their 650 employees and organizational structure as well as strategic HR functions such as training and recruitment.
Bintaro International Hospital is owned by Australian Ramsay Health Care, which was established in 1964 and has since become the largest and most respected private hospital operator in the country. Ramsay Health Care currently has a portfolio of 69 private hospitals and day care facilities across Australia and Indonesia, of which Bintaro International is one of them.
Bintaro International was built on 12,000 sqm of land as a three-storey building that is located in the Bintaro Jaya District in Tangerang, north of Jakarta. The hospital started operation in November 1998 with 175 examination/consultation rooms and different types of health care services including accident & emergency care, cancer care, intensive care, mental health, dermatology, neurology, plastic surgery, radiology, sleep studies, orthopedics, psychiatry, urology, and rehabilitation, etc.
The hospital had already been using two independent systems, one for recording working hours and attendance and the second for payroll calculation and processing. However, neither system supported any kind of employee administration, which the hospital considered crucial to conduct their HR management and as they were not intertwined didn’t allow for much more efficiency and speed when it came down to accomplishing important tasks and payment. Therefore, the decision was made to seek a new solution that would combine and integrate administrative, informative and also - bearing future developments in mind- strategic HR aspects.
With SunFish HR, the RS Internasional Bintaro will be integrating all areas of human resource management in one single platform and through automation achieve maximum workflow efficiency in all HR related work processes. It will increase the effectiveness and transparency with which the hospital processes employee information, submits & approves different types of request (leave, overtime, etc.), handles payroll & reimbursement processing, tracks/analyzes work attendance, shift and reports. As a result the hospital will see a reduction of operational costs for the mentioned workflows in their HR department.
