PT. Suzuki Finance selects DataOn’s SunFish HR as its future Human Resource System
February 2006, Jakarta – DataOn announces that PT. Suzuki Finance has decided for the SunFish HR Professional Version, including recruitment, to automate its personnel administration and to support the company’s extensive growth and recruitment plans.
PT. Suzuki Finance is a subsidiary of Japan-based trading company Itochu Corporation and operates in the area of financing and insuring cars and motorcycles beyond the Suzuki Brand. The company is one of the fastest growing finance companies in Indonesia. Early on Suzuki Finance knew that their ambitious hiring and growth strategy would become extremely difficult and time-intensive to handle if it had to be done manually and on paper. Therefore the company decided for implementing an HR solution that would support them to accomplish their goals easily by automating all processes related to hiring and administering employees.
Two months ago the company started looking at HR vendors, which would help it to bring online and automate its human resource related data management focusing on employee administration and recruitment processes. The company had detailed the HR system’s specifications and evaluated the vendors according to their requirements. DataOn’s SunFish HR was chosen to be implemented because it accommodated Suzuki Finance’ needs optimally.
Once implemented SunFish HR will automate many administrative HR processes simplifying management, tracking and reporting tasks for the 1600 and more employees. Besides advantages in information transparency and data processing efficiency the new solution also addresses the issue of recruitment and farsighted personnel strategy that will align the hiring process with the company’s goals.
SunFish HR will simplify the recruitment process by filing received applications, scheduling interviews, producing applicant flow statistics, routing requests and approvals, customizing recruitment letters, processing offers, tracking the entire hiring process, among other functionalities of the recruitment module. The module uses an automated system to make the interview process easy and by employing a unique rating system that assign different points and weight to applicants in areas such as skill, education and work experience. The points system also makes the sorting and rating of applicants easier, thus allowing a more objective comparison of applicants in different categories.
Decision makers will be provided with a better planning tool as the system tracks recruitment needs for every department and projects budgetary requirements of the scheduled recruitments. Managers and the HR department have a variety of different reports to analyze the recruitment process and budget. Additionally recruitment related broadcast media budgets and actual costs can also be maintained through this module. With these tools Suzuki Finance is given the ability to track every angle of the hiring process and to achieve its ambitious growth objectives.
