DataOn wins PT. Hutchison CP Telecommunications tender for HR solution and implementation
August 2007, Jakarta – DataOn announces that it has won the HRM tender for PT. Hutchison CP Telecommunications (following short PT. Hutchinson). PT Hutchison CP Telecommunications is a joint venture by Hong Kong based Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited and CP Group of Indonesia. The subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited currently offers mobile and fixed-line telecommunication services and started to launch nationwide GSM services in phases with 3G services overlaid in key cities in the second half of 2006.
Being a newly established company, PT. Hutchinson is a still growing in terms of their numbers of employees and realized that their current manual human resource administration will soon become insufficient. In order to avoid problems in the near future, PT. Hutchinson decided to take a proactive approach and seek software to underpin their HR management structures in order to make them more efficient and prepare their future employee growth.
To ensure that the company gets the solution it needs, PT. Hutchinson carefully gathered all HR requirements and prepared a tender that served as a basis to evaluate and compare many local and international HR vendors. Following a thorough selection process, PT. Hutchinson decided for SunFish to become their new Human Resources Information System because SunFish’s features and technology scored hundred percent with their requirement list. Additionally beneficial was the fact, that DataOn has proven implementation experience and success with other telecommunications company including Indosat Mega Media and Icon+.
Once SunFish HR is implemented, the software will provide the backbone of PT. Hutchinson’s HR operation and working practice for their currently 325 employees; complementing and automating existing processes, thus increasing efficiency and preparing it for future growth. Additionally, it leaves HR staff more time to develop a concept of taking on more valuable activities towards HR strategies, policies and long-term planning and thus becoming a more strategic partner in the overall business.
