PT.Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk. extends existing human resource structure with SunFish HR
September 17, 2007 Jakarta – DataOn announces that PT. Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk. (following short CMNP) has chosen SunFish HR in order to fulfill their most important HR targets of integrating separately run HR tasks into one system as well as web enabling their human resource management so that the HR department can control all employees in all of the company’s business units and offices.
Immense traffic problems following Indonesia’s population explosion during the economic boom in the 1980 led to joint venture construction companies between state-owned PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) and private sector investors in order to build toll roads and improve traffic infrastructure. Among them was PT. Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada, which was founded in 1987 with the mandate to undertake the construction, building and operation of Cawang - Tanjung Priok Road project (North South Link). Since then the company has been involved in several construction and engineering projects in Jakarta and Surabaya as well as the Metro Manila Skyway Toll Road project in the Philippines. Besides highway construction, the company’s other business activities are: Toll Collection Management, Traffic Services & Maintenance, Project Development & Management, Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, General Affairs, Human Resources Development and Internal Audit.
With currently 400 employees and increasing hiring plans, CMPN was interested in a system that would support them in managing all employees and location within one single system and provide proper payroll and tax calculation as well as generate quick and timely analytical reports. But in addition to the fundamental HR tasks, the system was also to be a platform for more strategic HR responsibilities, which due to their unique type of business are mostly related to analyzing the skill levels of their employees and retain them through proper compensation programs and thus reducing labor turn. In context with the company’s personnel strategy, the new system also needs to include a sophisticated recruitment tool in order to ensuring hiring of qualified new personnel.
