Phintraco Group implements SunFish HR to resolve payroll processing and recruitment challenges and overall to improve their HR management structures
May 2008, Jakarta – DataOn announces that Phintraco Group has chosen DataOn’s SunFish HR in order to address different types of HR challenges that the group’s various business units have faced in the past including inefficient structures for the appraisals of permanent employees as well as an intransparent recruitment process for a large numbers of new employees.
Phintraco started its operation in 1991 as an authorized dealer of Panasonic Telecommunication products and since then evolved into a well-known Indonesian Information Technology solutions and services provider that develops, implements and supports integrated, customized, industry-specific enterprise IT solutions based on world class leading edge technologies. Phintraco at present employs more than 100 professionals to serve its continuously growing number of customers in Indonesia. In order to respond to growing customer and market needs Phintraco has set up subsidiaries including PT. Aneka Arthanusa Sekurindo, a securities brokerage company and member of the Jakarta Stock Exchange - established in 1999; PT. MitraComm Ekasarana, a call center operator and technology service provider and systems integrator specialized in electronic transaction services – established in 2000; PT. Phintraco favored SunFish HR because of its underlying technology platform, beyond industry standard implementation support services, DataOn’s good reputation and large customer base. Together with the convincing price/performing ratio, the management decided quickly to go ahead with the implementation.
Phintraco decided to implement two SunFish versions - the SunFish Enterprise version for the management of its permanent employees in all companies as well as SunFish Payroll version to accommodate Mitracomm’s very specific call center operation requirements related to the management of outsourced employees and recruitment process for large numbers of employees.
