“Midplaza Group” renews and automates its employee management with SunFish HR

April 2008, Jakarta – DataOn announces that “Midplaza Group” has selected the SunFish HR Enterprise Version to automate the personnel administration and improve HR operation standards for all its business units.

“Midplaza Group” consists of 8 separate companies in different types of industries, which are: PT. Midplaza Prima, the company behind the development and operation of the Midplaza office tower; PT. Supra Primatama Nusantara; The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort & Spa; Riverside Golf Club operator PT. Gitamaya Interbuana Golf & Country, fast growing IT company and IBM business partner PT. Perkom Indah Murni; Manufacture of Industrial, Marine Paint and Heavy Duty Coating PT. Chugoku Paints Indonesia and flower planting and exporting company PT. Mid Duta International.

The SunFish HR Enterprise Version will be installed in all 8 companies together employing over 2400 people. Midplaza had been loosely interested in HR solutions already for 2 years and during that time attended two of the DataOn HR conference. All 8 companies as a group started seriously looking for compatible HR software in 2007 in order to address challenges in managing that many employees in different companies and locations as well as aligning all business units to the same standards within the HR administration. In that context the group wanted the software to provide them with tools for analyzing, developing and recruiting skilled employees in order to be able to retain and hire qualified employees, which is an objective for any growing company.

In a thorough evaluation process DataOn’s SunFish HR solution impressed the companies as the software was able to easily compete with well-known international brands in respect of functional depth, user-friendliness and performance stability, while being local HR software it embedded naturally all Indonesia-specific characteristics. DataOn’s many years of implementation experience and the large number of satisfied customers were other factors that lead to the decision of implementing SunFish HR for above mentioned business units.

Deperindag - Ministry of Trade and Industry of Republic Indonesia
DataOn was engaged in a pilot project by PUSDATIN (Center for Data and Information) at Deperindag.  PUSDATIN is a division of Deperindag that takes care of all the information technology needs of the Ministry.  They also maintain Deperindag website (www.dprin.go.id), and continually improve the IT infrastructure and resources of the Ministry.
