PT. Samsung Indonesia implements customized Payroll Interface to SAP HR
September 2008, Jakarta – DataOn announces that Samsung Indonesia has acquired its services to implement SunFish HR’s Payroll Module and interface it with their SAP HR solution.
Samsung Indonesia is part of the Samsung Group – South Korea’s largest company leading several industries in the world. It is composed of numerous international businesses including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Heavy Industries and Samsung Engineering & Construction. Samsung recently completed the implementation of the Global SAP HR solution in all Samsung Electronics factories but is amending this solution with separate local payroll interfaces to appropriately comply with each country’s specific tax and labor regulations.
After a thorough evaluation of five vendors, Samsung chose DataOn to interface its SunFish HR Payroll Module with SAP HR in order to ensure accurate payroll and tax calculations and processing, tax and Jamsostek reporting and online payment transfers for Samsung’s 2000 employees in Indonesia. DataOn convinced local users as well as the IT & HR division from South Korea because of its many years of payroll (implementation) experience and also because it had successfully integrated its SunFish solution with different SAP business application in the past.
