SunFish ERP to support PT. Hung-A Indonesia in improving business process management

September 2008, Jakarta – DataOn announces that PT. Hung-A Indonesia has begun implementation of SunFish ERP in order to consolidate the management of its operation, to optimize core business processes and to improve online interactions and information exchange between departments. The company is implementing the ERP modules for managing General Ledger, Account Receivables, Sales, Account Payables, Purchases, Cash & Bank, Inventory and Production (Manufacturing). The implementation of SunFish ERP will be conducted in three phases: the first phase starts with the deployment of modules Sales and Inventory, which are the most urgently needed features. The second phase starting early 2009 will see the implementation of all accounting-related modules (Cash and Bank, GL, AR and AP), and lastly the Production module will be implemented in mid 2009.

PT. Hung-A Indonesia is a subsidiary of Korean-based Hung-A Co. Ltd. and was founded in 1991. Producing tires for more than 50 years, the company has become a world leading tire manufacturer for bicycles and motorcycles. The Indonesian company was established to handle the company’s tire production for and exports to western European countries including Germany, Great Britain, and Holland. PT. Hung-A Indonesia employs approximately 1000 people and its products include bicycle tires & tubes, motorcycle tires & tubes, as well as all kinds of bias tires such as ATB, OTR, LTB.  

With the continuous development of its business, PT. Hung-A Indonesia decided to modernize the management of its operation, and to underpin it with a sophisticated information platform.
