PT. Ristra Indolab chooses SunFish ERP to improve the overall management of its business processes but especially to optimize its manufacturing operation

February 2009, Jakarta – DataOn announces that PT. Ristra Indolab has begun the implementation of SunFish ERP in order to consolidate the management of its operation, to optimize core business processes and to improve online interactions and information exchange between departments. The company is implementing the ERP modules for managing General Ledger, Account Receivables, Sales, Account Payables, Purchases, Cash & Bank, Inventory and Production (Manufacturing). Although the company is determined to improve all its processes, it main focus is on the automation of manufacturing processes and integrating it with neighboring administrative, planning and adjustment functions for sales, purchases, inventory in order to increase the efficiency and performance of its operation.

PT. Ristra Indolab (originally established in 1983 as PT. Dwi Citra Utama, but changed its name in 1991) is a cosmetics products company producing and offering 161 cosmetics product on behalf of brands Ristra, Platinum by Ristra, Trustee by Ristra, and Dermocare. The products include skin health and skin care treatment, beauty treatment, hair treatment to make up tools for women of all ages. Equipped with modern laboratories and factories, all Ristra products are manufactured using only high quality ingredients as well as characteristically hypo-allergenic and non-acnegenic ingredients and controlled procedures.

The company expanded its business beyond selling cosmetics products to include beauty service centers where beauty, skin health and make up treatments are applied by qualified professionals and skin-related medical consultation is provided by experienced doctors. Furthermore, the company established PT. Ristra Pharmindo to expanded into the Vitamins and Health supplement market.

With the continuous development of its business, PT. Ristra Indolab decided to optimize its operations by underpinning it with a sophisticated information platform. The company wants to strategically integrate all of its business structures and flows, and thereby, improve business insights and management efficiency, and to allow for more flexibility and adaptability in handling business processes.

Deperindag - Ministry of Trade and Industry of Republic Indonesia
DataOn was engaged in a pilot project by PUSDATIN (Center for Data and Information) at Deperindag.  PUSDATIN is a division of Deperindag that takes care of all the information technology needs of the Ministry.  They also maintain Deperindag website (www.dprin.go.id), and continually improve the IT infrastructure and resources of the Ministry.
