KFC Indonesia chooses SunFish HR to improve human resource management efficiency across local franchises
November 2009, Jakarta – Fast food restaurant chain KFC Indonesia has chosen SunFish HR as technology solution to underpin the administration, operation and planning of the company’s human resource management requirements.
The first KFC franchise licenses in Indonesia was granted to the Gelael Group ind 1978. The first restaurant started operating one year later in 1979 at Melawai Street in Jakarta. The success of that restaurant lead to a dynamic outlet expansion first within Jakarta followed by other Indonesian cities including Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, and Manado. In 1993 the KFCI Indonesia was registered with the Jakarta Stock exchanged, which pushed the outlet growth further. The success story of the KFC in Indonesia continues until today and the fast food chain has become one of the most popular and dominant chains throughout the archipelago.
