7 Eleven Indonesia to rely on SunFish to operate their HR management
April 2010 ? Jakarta ? DataOn announces that PT Modern Putra Indonesia (following short MPI)has decided to partner with DataOn and chosen SunFish as Software as a Service to operate the HR Management for their new but fast growing convenient store business.
PT Modern Putra Indonesia is a subsidiary of PT Modern Internasional Tbk which is engaged in general trading of photography equipments, printing equipments, electronics, communications, photocopy machine and other convenience items. Under PT Modern Putra Indonesia it holds the 7-Eleven franchise for Indonesia and has secured permits from the local government to open ?modern? retail stores and restaurants. In November 2009, the company opened its first 7-Eleven convenience store in Jakarta and has an ambitious growth plan for the next 5 years.
The implementation of SunFish HR is divided into several phases based on urgency and growth. Currently the company is concentrating on going live with core HR functions for employee and manager self service, organization, employee administration and career management as well as attendance tracking, basic performance and KPI evaluations, training maintenance, and Point of Sale interface for around 250 employees by the end of phase one. Once users are familiar with SunFish, other tasks shall be integrated including reimbursement, payroll, and full strategic feature functionality in following phases.
