Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ re-organizes HRM structures with SunFish HR

February 2010, Jakarta – DataOn announces the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (following BOTM UFJ) has decided to implement SunFish HR Enterprise to extend and partially replace existing HR software solutions. Scrutinizing several HRIS vendors over many months the final decision was made for SunFish HR because of a good cost-benefit-ratio, SunFish’s ability to interface with legacy systems, the platform’s flexibility to not only accommodate changing organizational structures and growing strategic requirements but also to incorporate new technologies in the future as needed.

The bank originally began in 1996 as The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi after a merger between the former Bank of Tokyo and former Bank of Mitsubishi. Several branches and organizational changes later, the company emerged as BOTM UFJ and started to operate under its current name in January 2006 with a main branch in Jakarta, sub branches in Surabaya and Bandung and 6 service points in Bekasi, MM2100, Karawang, Sunter, Cengkareng, and Cikampek. The bank provides full range banking services such as Deposit, Remittance, Loan, Export, Import and Foreign Exchange Transaction. Its excellent customer services and reliability make it popular settlement bank for many Japanese companies in Indonesia.

The implementation of SunFish HR will provide as BOTM UFJ with a standard platform that automates the operation of the bank’s compensation processes, simplifies the data and transaction administration of 500 employees. SunFish HR will increase productivity, reduce cost and time through automation and strengthen the company as it can concentrate on deploying its best assets – its employees- more effectively and better adopting future changes and growth as the company evolves.
