April 2012, Jakarta: Panarub Industry has chosen the SunFish HR Enterprise Version to automate the HR administration and operation for its over 17.000 employees at the companys plant in Tangerang, Banten. Moreover, the company wants to start going beyond pure staff administration and include more strategic HR elements such as performance monitoring, career development and training in their new definition of HR management.
PT. Panarub Industry was originally founded in 1968 as PT. Pan Asia Rubber and produced rubber sponge and sandals. The success of the sandal brand name Lily's allowed the company to diversify its business into sports footwear. By 1979, now renamed PT. Panarub Industry, the company exported its products to developed markets like Europe and the USA.
Another milestone was achieved in 1988 when PT. Panarub Industry formed a business partnership with the adidas brand and as a result of it became the Football Speciality Centre for the adidas brand. Today, PT. Panarub Industry has grown to 25 high-tech production lines, manufactured 12.6 million pairs of top quality professional shoes for sports-men and sports-women all over the world.
