Deperindag - Ministry of Trade and Industry of Republic Indonesia

Like many other governments today, the Indonesian Government is forced to compete and comply with the continuing speed of information technology revolution.  Modern governmental institutions, such as Deperindag, realize that providing the best service requires reducing long, complicated procedures while maintaining tight control.  Like many Indonesian Government institutions, Deperindag is turning to e-government systems to find new ways of improving their operations.

In accordance with the Indonesian Governments e-government mandate, Deperindag has been developing its own e-government system. One of the component on Deperindag “To-do” list is deploying a complete human resource, document, and inventory management system.  To begin this task, Deperindag appointed PUSDATIN to become the test groung for the first phase.  By engaging this pilot project the system can be perfected before it is used across the entire ministry.

To fulfill PUSDATIN needs and requirements, DataOn is supplying PUSDATIN with our SunFish Human Resource (HR) for Human Resource and Inventory Management as well as the SunFish Enterprise Portal (EP) for Document Management.

SunFish HR will address PUSDATIN’s human resource requirements from recruitment up to resignation.  Hence, increases in the administrative performance of PUSDATIN can be seen and a full utilization of PUSDATIN employee can be reached.  The Inventory Management System can also be found in SunFish HR, as it is one of the modules of SunFish HR, allowing PUSDATIN a complete overview on assets and assignment without the traditional heavy paperwork required.

PUSDATIN has chosen SunFish EP as their tool for Document Management because through its web-based features all the documents of PUSDATIN can be accessed from anywhere on the web easily, routed through definable workflows while remaining safe and secure.
